Home to a pilot and a swimmer.

A circulation corridor through the center of the house is created by an axis oriented directly east-west with spaces extending perpendicular. Holding the two ends of the axis is a view to the Mohawk River Valley below (to the east) and a view of the field above (to the west) The further offset a space is from the main axis, the greater its degree of privacy. When occupied, each space engages the corridor, effectively linking the otherwise separate spaces. Acorn's Panelized system of exterior load bearing walls and interior posts directly informs the arrangement and division of spaces.
